The Bookkeeping Specialist will work closely with our client to ensure their data is organized and up-to-date, while providing internal accounting support. The job requires a well-organized individual who possesses good time management skills and pays attention to details.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Tracking and manage our client’s financial data
  • Preparing and record journal entries 
  • Sorting documents for data entry
  • Recording financial transactions
  • Entering data into the designated database software and check to ensure the accuracy
  • Maintaining financial records and update financial data/statements
  • Organizing, generating, and reviewing financial statements/reports
  • Developing and implementing invoicing procedures, manage database, and handle client’s request
  • Supporting internal accounting procedures
  • Making recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders for improving accounting processes
  • Keeping up-to-date on accounting trends and softwares

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with Quickbooks or similar accounting software is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Excellent knowledge of General Accounting Principles, including basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles 
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within a business-services environment or previous experience in full-cycle accounting
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel is a plus

Important Notes: 

  • This Position is exclusively On-Site
  • Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities
